Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician in Oncology Facility Overview: Join a dynamic team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in scenic Greenville, South Carolina. This facility is seeking locum coverage in Medical Oncology due to the recent loss of a provider. Enjoy a supportive environment with a focus on patient care, working alongside 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs) to deliver high-quality medical services to an adult and geriatric patient population. Job Responsibilities: Participate in Tumor Board meetings. Manage Bone Marrow Transplants and collaborate on Blood Bank responsibilities. Order tests and images as needed. Prescribe medications as required. Administer chemotherapy with the assistance of a nurse oncologist. Qualifications: Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (Required) Active South Carolina medical license (Applicants needing to obtain a state license are accepted) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and DEA certification (Required) Clean background required for emergency temporary assignments (Required) Current NPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank) report for presentation (Required) License and Certification Requirements: Active South Carolina medical license Board Certificated in Hematology & Oncology BLS & DEA certifications Clean background for emergency temp placements Current NPDB report Experience the charm and vibrant lifestyle of Greenville, SC.
