BONUS ELIGIBLE Earn up to $10,000 Cardiovascular Technologists II is a professional in the Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab, with direct patient care during these procedures in the scrub and monitor positions. The technologist is responsible for helping develop and implement systems to assure the smooth and efficient flow of patients for procedures in the Cardiovascular labs. Responsible for performing specialized technologist roles within the Cardiovascular procedure setting. Operates high technology equipment and utilizes products under the direct supervision of a qualified physician to assist with procedures performed. Duties for this position include but are not limited to monitoring and scrubbing roles during procedures, patient teaching, assisting with patient care within scope of practice, inventory management and schedule coordination. Responsibilities • Efficiently and effectively provides procedural support for a variety of patient procedures. • Operates a high technology imaging system for procedures. Uses advanced critical thinking skills to manage emergency situations. • Ensures imaging system for procedures are appropriately operated under the direction supervision of a physician.
