GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB The Director, Social Investment is responsible for managing a team of paid social experts that activate and manage social campaigns across all social platforms. You will be trusted to oversee a growing client portfolio and collaborate with other team members to deliver innovative solutions to the book of business. This role will also be focused on helping Rise drive revenue growth through three core areas: Partnering with the Account Management team mapped to their respective portfolio of accounts to retain current business through delivering a remarkable experience and superior results. In addition, this individual must be well-spoken, have strong presentation skills, understand client relationship/risk management, be comfortable managing a high performance team and overseeing large complex accounts with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment. The right candidate will be passionate about social media and its importance in the consumer journey and marketing funnel. They must have an astute understanding of the social landscape - including all channels, technologies, platforms, etc. and be a leader promoting collaboration and ideation. As a supervisor, the Director will oversee employee development and retention, including training and goal setting, and lead the team in ensuring ensuring that the tactical execution of media planning, placement, and reporting (including post-buy and financial reconciliation) are handled with accuracy and timeliness. Produces and maintains technical documentation for pipelines, connector configurations, validation logic, and refresh schedules to support sustainment and knowledge transfer. What you will need: Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST". Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE OR PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. Ability to meet the project’s client security and access requirements. Bachelor’s degree obtained 3 years of experience (or strong internship/coop experience) in data engineering, ETL/ELT, or pipeline development using SQL and Python. Working proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with R is a plus for statistical validation and profiling. Familiarity with building or supporting connectors/extractors (e.g., relational sources, APIs, file-based repositories) and running scheduled jobs. Ability to collaborate with technical SMEs and follow structured validation and documentation processes.
