ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Richmond, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Therapy Location Richmond, VA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7 AM and 5 PM, with rotating weekends. Job Description The Occupational or Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation therapy in a hospital setting, focusing on stroke evaluation and treatment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an inpatient rehab environment and will utilize advanced skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, functional activities, and neuromuscular re-education. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients recovering from stroke and other neurological impairments. Implement therapeutic exercises and functional activities tailored to individual patient needs. Utilize equipment such as Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, and Bioness for effective patient care. Document patient progress using the Meditech Expanse system. Communicate effectively with patients and their families using AIDET principles to enhance patient experience. Required Experience Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital setting, specifically in inpatient rehabilitation. Preferred experience in stroke evaluation and treatment. Why ARMStaffing?
