Job Description Join our Team at the Department of Veterans VA Medical Center, San Francisco, CA as a Physician - Psychiatrist! The Inpatient and Interventional Psychiatrist serves as an Attending Psychiatrist for the SFVA Acute Recovery Center Inpatient Unit in which they provide psychiatric care to veterans requiring inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations. The incumbent also provides inpatient and outpatient interventional psychiatry care such as ketamine infusion, electromagnetic stimulation treatment, and transmagnetic stimulation treatment to veterans as part of a multidisciplinary team. The psychiatrist also provides supervision and mentorship of UCSF trainees, and also serves as VA faculty back up for on call residents at the SFVA. The incumbent works with a multidisciplinary team providing mental health care to Veterans with diagnoses such as Schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders as well as complex/treatment-resistant mood disorders including Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $198,416 to $234,099 annually and no cap on productivity income potential. Hospitalist - Physician

TeamHealth has a new day shift hospitalist opening at St. David's Georgetown Hospital in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA staffed with internal medicine hospitalists and nocturnists that are all local to Austin. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule. St. David's Georgetown has 118 beds but only 50 beds are handled by the hospitalist program. We are currently staffing with 2 daytime physicians (7a-7p); 1 swing physician (2p-7p), and 1 nocturnist physician (7p-7a). This is a closed ICU setting, averaging 20-22 total patient encounters per day shift clinician and an average of 7 admissions at night, seeing 60-70 cross coverage patients. We do not require our clinicians to perform procedures within this role. You only need to respond to codes for your patients, so you are able to assist the codes team.
