The Maintenance Technician - Building is responsible for performing skilled mechanical maintenance work with installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of plumbing, piping, grounds maintenance, snow removal and other building and print production support equipment. The BMT (Building Maintenance Tech) is responsible for repair & maintenance: Recycling Systems (Balers, Blowers HVAC systems, refrigeration systems Knowledge/Repair of Walk-in Coolers, icemakers, and refrigerated air dryers, air compressors, Knowledge/Repair of Industrial Vacuum Pumps, Electric motors, belt drives and mechanical couplings. Knowledge/Repair of Industrial Air Compressors. Knowledge/Familiarity with building control systems. Knowledge/Repair of chillers and chill water systems, chemical treatment and water softeners. Knowledge/Familiarity: Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Knowledgeable with Snow Removal Equipment Performs Grounds Maintenance and snow removal as required Experience/Knowledge of repair with overhead doors, fire doors, dock equipment, rail dock equipment. Repair toilets, urinals, drain cleaning. Repair roof leaks and make temporary repairs. Perform sheetrock maintenance and painting. Ability to perform drop ceiling repair and tile change outs. Ability to solider/weld pipe Contribute to an accident-free work environment by complying with all company rules and regulations, Qualifications: Education High school diploma or GED Completion of a maintenance program at a vocational/technical school or a recognized apprenticeship program in general mechanical maintenance Experience Mechanical or industrial maintenance experience Required Skills Possess basic welding, soldering and metal fabrication skills Interpret and work from blueprints, mechanical drawings and sketches Possess good oral, reading and writing skills for effective communication Mechanic must furnish their own basic set of mechanic hand tools Must know how to properly operate and maintain power tools to keep them in safe working order at all times Preferred Skills Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, piping, fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics is preferred Driver’s License for snow removal operations. Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various pieces of manufacturing equipment using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments. This position will visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions and keep equipment operational. The Maintenance Mechanic plays an essential role in providing safe and reliable equipment for manufacturing that produces quality products for our customers. Responsibilities include: Safely and properly perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance procedures on all manufacturing equipment. Troubleshooting and repairing of precision machinery and auxiliary equipment, utilizing blueprints, schematics, manufacturer specifications, and manuals. Emphasize proactive measures to minimize reactive maintenance. Maintain and repair mechanical systems including but not limited to: Gear Boxes, Drive Shafts, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Belt Drives, Bearings, Gas Trains, and Clutches. Follow safety instructions while performing tasks and effectively communicating with operators, crew members, and management. May also perform some basic welding, machining, and other mechanical tasks. Required Qualifications Experience in safety practices such as LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Works, Ladder & Lifts, and PIV operation. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment, with an understanding of the urgency of equipment downtime. Basic knowledge of precision test and calibration equipment to perform preventative maintenance. Basic understanding maintenance tooling, best practices, predictive tooling, greasing and lubrication practices. Ability to understand and follow instructions, troubleshoot effectively and respond quickly to solve equipment malfunctions. Strong written and oral communication. Must provide own set of tools. Must be able to safely operate both hand and power tools. Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB The Sourcing Solutions Print Specialist supports the execution of print sourcing and production activities by coordinating projects from initial request through final delivery. This role is responsible for organizing and validating print specifications, soliciting production solutions and competitive quotations from approved suppliers, evaluating supplier responses, negotiating pricing, and preparing accurate client proposals. The Specialist works closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality, service, and client expectations. By following established sourcing processes and company standards, the Specialist helps deliver cost-effective print solutions while providing exceptional customer service and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage assigned print and related sourcing projects from initiation through delivery using established processes and procedures. Coordinate project schedules, production milestones, and supplier activities to ensure timely completion. Monitor project status and communicate updates to internal teams and clients. Maintain accurate project documentation, purchase orders, and production records. Support billing reconciliation and project closeout activities. Review project specifications for completeness prior to requesting supplier quotations. Solicit quotations from approved suppliers following established sourcing guidelines. Compare supplier pricing, capabilities, and delivery options and provide recommendations to management or senior team members. Prepare purchase orders and maintain supplier documentation. Assist in resolving supplier issues related to production, quality, or delivery. Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned projects. Provide responsive communication to internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers throughout project execution. Escalate issues, risks, or exceptions when appropriate.
