Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a general gastroenterologist to join a collegial group of providers consisting of three physicians and three physician assistants providing general gastroenterology services in both the ambulatory and inpatient setting. Consult service is managed by an employed hospitalist group, with dedicated procedure days in a new endoscopy suite conveniently located on the Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital campus. The unit has the capability to support Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) procedures and ERCP procedures with stenting capability. The Endoscopy suite also has GERD clinic capability with manometry cart to perform pH impedance studies, anal-rectal manometry, SmartPill, and Bravo studies.
