What You'll Do As a Commercial Security Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting a variety of security and low-voltage systems in commercial environments. Your Responsibilities Include: Installing access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems Running and terminating low-voltage cabling Mounting cameras, card readers, panels, and field devices Programming and testing system components Diagnosing installation and connectivity issues Reading blueprints, layouts, and project documentation Coordinating work with project managers, contractors, and customers Training end users on system functionality Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards What You BringRequired High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in security, low-voltage, electrical, or related technical installation work Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Valid driver's license with a good driving record Professional attitude and customer service skills Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus Access Control Systems CCTV / IP Video Surveillance Fire Alarm Systems Intrusion Detection Systems Structured Cabling Commercial Construction Projects Lift Equipment and Scissor Lifts Why Technicians Choose UsInvest in Your Future We believe great technicians deserve great opportunities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
