The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist would be working for a Major Hospital and has career growth potential. CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist Highlights: The pay for this position is $80-$85 hourly Shift: Sunday Monday Tuesday 7p-8a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist Responsibilities: Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols. Maintains sterility of field and instruments. Correctly prepares requisitions. Communicates to the patient and family before, during and after the procedure to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity of the patient. Verifies patient identification according to the AHS policy. Observes patient???s condition before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist. Ensures availability of medicals records, previous reports, labs and history of patient. Can begin emergency response in case of complication. Maintains adequate linen supplies in each scanning room, and contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room. Adheres to room assignments (CT 1,2 and 3). Assists in maintaining CT storeroom, outside inventory. Participates in daily inventory and stocking of supplies. Notifies Lead of expired or soon to expire equipment or medications. Cleans and inventories supplies. Participates in the routine cleaning of the CT gantry, table and peripheral equipment after each use. The point staff will perform the following tasks while displaying involvement in patient care, professionalism and respect to other staff and patients: When assigned as Point, triages procedures accordingly to the daily schedule Ensures timely coordination of all emergency and unscheduled procedure requests.
