Competitive base salary and overall compensation package Bonus Program 401 K with generous company match Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Generous PTO, vacation, sick, and holiday schedule Life Insurance coverage Job Details Manufacturing Equipment Engineer We're seeking a highly hands-on Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to support, improve, and design industrial manufacturing equipment, automation systems, tooling, and production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an engineering-first role for someone who enjoys working directly on the production floor, troubleshooting equipment failures, performing root cause analysis, designing mechanical solutions, and communicating technical concepts across multiple departments. The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical design skills with practical manufacturing experience and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to solve problems. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and improve industrial machinery, automated production equipment, and manufacturing systems Perform root cause analysis and develop sustainable corrective actions to improve equipment reliability Design and modify machine components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies using SolidWorks or similar CAD software Create and document engineering solutions that can be effectively communicated to production, maintenance, and leadership teams Support fabrication, machine modifications, retrofits, and equipment upgrades Work directly on the production floor with operators, maintenance personnel, supervisors, and management Assist with PLC troubleshooting, controls, sensors, motors, pneumatics, and automation systems Lead equipment improvement and process optimization projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Support new equipment installations, testing, validation, and production launches Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput, quality, and equipment uptime What We're Looking For 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Machine Design, or Industrial Equipment experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Experience designing and improving industrial equipment or custom machinery CAD experience required; SolidWorks strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams Experience with automation systems and PLC troubleshooting preferred Hands-on experience working directly with manufacturing equipment and production systems Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts across multiple departments Self-directed problem solver with strong organizational and prioritization skills Ideal Backgrounds: Custom Machinery Packaging Equipment Industrial Automation Machine Building OEM Equipment Manufacturing Food Processing Equipment Conveyor & Material Handling Systems Robotics & Automation Integration Tool & Die Fabrication Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Steel & Metals CNC Machinery Process Equipment Preferred Skills SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Machine Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Equipment Engineering, PLC Troubleshooting, Automation, Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, Mechanical Design, Electro-Mechanical Systems, Controls, Robotics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Tooling Design, Fixture Design, Capital Projects, Equipment Reliability, Industrial Machinery, Blueprint Reading, Schematic Interpretation, Sensors, Motors, VFDs, Conveyors, Packaging Equipment.
