Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Location Springfield, VT Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour nights. Job Description The Emergency Department is open 24/7 and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year. Upon arrival, patients will be screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of their condition and the appropriate course of treatment. As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and screenings to determine the urgency of care required. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure safety and quality standards are met in the delivery of care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting. Minimum of 3 months travel nursing experience preferred. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Vermont RN license or Compact License. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be in hand at time of application).
