Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel ROLE – SPECIALTY Registered Nurse – LD with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience required SCHEDULE Rotating ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 8 REQUIREMENTS - Current, valid RN license from the State and in good standing with the Board of Nursing - Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if performing circulating or recovery room for C-section) - Current, valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if caring for Pediatrics) - Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification - Completion of Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring class within the first year after orientation (if working in Labor and Delivery) - Completion of Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring Class within three years of labor orientation (if working in Labor and Delivery) ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records - Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management - Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care - Transcribe and implement physician orders and protocols - Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly - Delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel COMPLIANCE / NOTES - Must maintain all certifications throughout employment - Ethical and legal accountability for the position is required About TLC Nursing TLC Nursing has been working with the best of the best nursing and allied travelers for over 18 years.
