Details Operating Room department at a major medical center 13-week assignment with day shift hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Possible on-call requirement Weekend rotation of 1 in 3 Rotating holiday coverage Requirements Active NYS RN license required 2 years of recent OR specialty experience required BLS certification from AHA or RQI required Epic EMR experience required Strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Medical exemptions only accepted for flu vaccine declinations Additional Information Perform surgical procedures across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible for this position More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out RTO must be requested at time of submission American Traveler Job ID P-750352.
