Job Title: Psychiatric Medical Director Location: Winterville, NC (Requirement to reside in or near the area) Position Type: Full-Time Overview: We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatric Medical Director with a proven history in telepsychiatry and psychiatric administration. The ideal candidate will have the skills and vision to lead and expand our psychiatric program while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical care. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Leadership (40%): Lead efforts to grow and broaden the reach of our psychiatric services. Oversee the development and management of a robust outcomes monitoring system to enhance patient care. Improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice implementation. Direct a peer-review program to ensure high standards of care. Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and foster a collaborative work environment. Clinical Service (60%): Provide top-tier psychiatric care, leveraging your expertise in telepsychiatry and in-person consultations. Engage directly with patients, diagnosing and managing psychiatric conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Qualifications: Board Eligibility/Certification: Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry. Telepsychiatry & Administration: Demonstrated experience in telepsychiatry and psychiatric program administration is required. Qualifications for the Primary Care Physician: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited United States medical school. Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
