Responsibilities: Primary responsibility is to be available and flexible to float to various sites across the Legacy Health System and provide patient care as needed. Functions as an integral part of the health care team , collaborating with and under the direction of a clinical manager or designee, in alignment with the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses . The RN Resource Team is responsible for the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, following Legacy Health’s established patient care standards, including protocols for patient assessment and safe transfer . This position is compensated at a flat rate , with additional differentials applied based on work conditions (e.g., shifts, weekends, holidays, etc.). Qualifications: Education: As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO. Experience: Three years registered nursing experience required. Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized: IMCU/Med Surg: Three years IMCU nursing and telemetry required. ACLS required. Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community. Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions. Licensure: Both Oregon and Washington state RN licensure required.
