Job duties include but are not limited to: Monitors and maintains gage and process equipment calibration program. Calibrates M&TE to calibration standards. Manages gage R&R studies. Schedules outside calibration services, reviews and approves results to calibration standards. Works with Quality and Process Engineers to select appropriate measurement systems. Uses laser and touch probe CMMs along with standard measuring equipment to verify product as needed. Develop and improve calibration standards and procedures. Other task as needed and flexibility is key. Have a sincere desire to work and be able to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner. Familiar with Windows OS. Speak/read/write English proficiently. Able to read and interpret drawings including knowledge of GD&T. Experience using Catia, AutoCAD, IGES files in a measuring environment. Prior Metrology / Calibration experience under ISO17025 system. Prior inspection experience using portable CMMs and surface tools. Experience writing work instructions. 1-3 years of experience within an ISO9000 or equivalent quality / manufacturing environment. Education preferred: CCT, CQT, CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt.
