Job Description Summary Job Description GE Aerospace Research is looking for an Inspection Technologies and AI Intern for our Advanced Manufacturing Lab. As an intern in the Advanced Manufacturing Lab, you will collaborate with leading researchers and scientists on developing manufacturing and inspection processes for GE Aerospace and its customers. The role focuses on the research and development of cutting-edge non-destructive evaluation (NDE)/inspection solutions leveraging computer vision and AI principles. Success in this position requires knowledge in the principles of nondestructive evaluation, signal/image processing, and deep learning. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Contribute to research and development activities in the fields of inspection/nondestructive evaluation (NDE) techniques, image and signal processing, computer vision, and scientific machine learning. Work with an interdisciplinary team of researchers to demonstrate proof of concept of novel instrumentation and analysis tools to solve inspection problems in the aerospace industry. Strong influencing skills with project teams and leadership. The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly.
