Job Description Job Description Street Fries – Restaurant & Food Truck Team Member Street Fries is looking for dependable, hardworking, high-energy team members to join our restaurant and food truck team. We’re a growing small business, so we’re looking for people who understand that everyone plays a part. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where you may cook, prep, clean, serve customers, stock stations, wash dishes, or help wherever the team needs you. What You'll Do Prepare and cook food according to Street Fries recipes and standards Work fryers, griddle, hot holding, cold stations, and other kitchen equipment Prep potatoes, proteins, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients Take and prepare customer orders accurately Provide friendly, welcoming customer service Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized Wash dishes and help maintain the entire restaurant Clean as you go and take care of messes when you see them Restock during downtime instead of standing around Follow all food safety and Health Department standards Help with restaurant and food truck opening and closing duties Work food truck events as scheduled Complete assigned tasks before leaving your shift Who We're Looking For We're looking for people who: Move with a sense of urgency and purpose Stay productive without constantly being told what to do Are coachable and willing to learn Have a growth mindset Can multitask in a fast-paced environment Are reliable and show up ready to work Follow directions from managers and shift leaders Communicate when they need help or don't understand something Take cleanliness and food safety seriously Don't cut corners or leave unfinished work for the next person Treat every guest like a VIP Are kind and respectful to customers and teammates Take pride in doing the job right the first time Our Expectations At Street Fries, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. We don't stand around watching fries cook or watching another teammate work. There's always something that can be cleaned, stocked, prepped, or completed. Everyone washes dishes. Everyone cleans. Everyone follows food safety procedures. Everyone helps the team. We don't expect you to know everything on day one— if you don't know, we'll teach you. What we do expect is a willingness to learn, listen, work hard, and follow the systems you're taught. Restaurant Food Truck Team members may work inside our restaurant as well as food truck events. Food truck shifts can include setup, cooking, serving, cleaning, breakdown, and working busy events with high order volume. You should be comfortable working on your feet, moving quickly, handling a fast-paced rush, and switching between responsibilities when needed. Scheduling & Growth Hours are scheduled based on the needs of the business. Additional hours are given to team members who consistently demonstrate reliability, productivity, strong communication, food safety, teamwork, and the ability to follow Street Fries systems.
