We can show you how. POSITION SUMMARY: The Resident Assistant (RA) at Northside Common Ministries (NCM) plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, supportive, and orderly environment for residents. The RA is responsible for supervising residents, enforcing shelter rules, conducting safety checks, and providing assistance with daily activities and needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and incident reports Participate in shift handovers and ensure a smooth transition between shifts Support residents in keeping their living areas clean and tidy Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate staff Be knowledgeable of and follow all applicable regulations, procedures, and policies for Goodwill of SWPA as the employment sites, including but not limited to attendance, training requirements, and safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned within the scope of homeless services Ensure cleanliness and general maintenance of facility, reporting any issues to the designated staff. External Hiring Range: $15.75-$17.14 Schedule: Shift: Friday and Saturday 11pm-7am, Monday 3pm-11pm QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 1 year experience with diverse populations; knowledge of homeless shelter operation and/or social services preferred. Must have some experience with facilitation of workshops and service referrals. REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS: Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to first day of employment. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications required within the first 90 days of employment.
