Role Title: Functional Tester (Integrated Eligibility Tester, State project work experience) Location : Mechanicsburg PA/Onsite Job Type : W2 Duration : Long Term contract: Required Skills Candidates must have at least 3 years of end-to-end software testing experience to include writing and executing test scenarios in addition to analyzing and clearly documenting programming defects (software bugs) that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications. 1. Must have experience testing Health and Human Services (HHS) systems, with a focus on Integrated Eligibility (IE) rules testing of various public assistance programs including Cash (TANF), Medical Assistance (Medicaid), Food Benefits (SNAP), and Child Care. 2. Proficiency with testing techniques – Must understand the various approaches used in testing, including white-box, black-box, coverage, and regression. 3. Demonstrated experience testing batches, interfaces (including flat files and SOAP UI), reports, security roles (including coarse-grain and fine-grain), and data conversion. 4. Demonstrated proficiency in reviewing system documentation, identifying test objectives, writing and updating test cases, and executing functional and regression test scenarios for web-based applications. 5. Ability to independently write and modify SQL queries of moderate complexity to validate database results. 6. Experience testing Web-based replacement of legacy systems. 7. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 9. Ability to balance multiple assignments and prioritize effectively to ensure work delivery according to project timelines. 10. Ability to coordinate across teams to gather information, present findings, and resolve issues. 11. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. 12.
