Essential Functions Will set the machinery so that it fabricates to the correct size. Examine cut material for any imperfections and adjust computer program as needed. Remove finished or pre-finished material from the cutting line machinery and stack on pallets for shipment to the customer or next operation. Enter cutting positions in proper order into computer memory. Be able to meet production rates set forth by Operations. Completes a Daily Production Report Performs clean-up of machine area. Assist with training others as needed. Other duties as assigned. Follow all safety policies, protocols, procedures. Position Requirements Basic English reading/writing skills and general computer knowledge, preferred. Work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred. Willing to work overtime, longer days, and some weekends as needed. Ability to follow directions and work well in a team. Ability to interpret and translate standard operating procedures. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment. Must stand and walk for a minimum of 10 hours per day or longer in overtime situations. Looking for a machinist to set up, run and operate the following HAAS machines: SL30 Lathe VF4 Mill ST 40 Lathe ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Set up and run machines Produces parts and devices as needed by manufacturing or engineering for prototype and production needs Is proficient and skilled in using all standard and specialized equipment needed including milling and lathe machines. Complies with all safety and environmental compliance requirements Minimizes equipment downtime and impact to overall operations REQUIRED SKILLS: 3-5 year machine experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment. Must have great attention to detail.
