Longstanding, reputable real estate development and investment company with a large growing pipeline Strong management and executive team focused on mentoring and development Newly created position due to growth Excellent corporate culture Job Details Support the General Counsel and collaborate with the legal team in managing legal operations related to real estate and corporate transactions. This role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, maintaining due diligence files, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution and closing of real estate deals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide direct support to the General Counsel on legal matters 2. Draft, review, and manage legal documents including purchase agreements, leases, closing checklists, and other transaction-related documents 3. Prepare and coordinate closing documents for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures 4. Oversee post-closing activities such as tracking deliverables and filing executed documents 5. Manage and organize due diligence materials and data rooms for property and corporate transactions 6. Draft and maintain corporate governance documents such as resolutions, consents, and meeting minutes 7. Act as a liaison between the legal team and business units (development, acquisitions, asset management, etc.) to ensure legal requirements are met 8. Communicate with outside counsel, title companies, lenders, and other external parties to facilitate information flow and project completion 9. Assist with insurance procurement and ensure coverage aligns with project and organizational needs 10. Coordinate legal workflows and monitor project timelines to ensure deadlines are met 11. Provide general legal and administrative support for special initiatives and ongoing legal matters Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal 2. Proven experience in coordinating projects and preparing closing documents 3. Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations 4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines 5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and manage complex documents 6.
