Product Management Director, AgentExchange Partner Platform AgentExchange is where Salesforce partners build, publish, monetize, and manage the applications, AI agents, APIs, and services that extend the Salesforce ecosystem. As Director of Product Management for Partner Platform, you'll shape the capabilities that let partners succeed at every stage of their journey — from onboarding and publishing through security review, monetization, and lifecycle management. This role sits at the intersection of trust, scale, and partner experience, and the decisions you make will directly determine how easily partners can bring new value to Salesforce customers. What You'll Be Doing Define and drive the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Partner Platform Own the Publisher Console and the end-to-end partner experience, from onboarding through release management Set the strategy for security review, compliance, and certification, partnering with Security Engineering to automate and scale partner validation Shape platform capabilities for monetization and commerce, working with platform teams on licensing, subscriptions, billing, and marketplace models Partner with the Agentic Foundations team to give partners ways to expose capabilities through Headless 360, MCP, APIs, and future platform services Define self-service tooling that lets partners integrate, publish, test, and maintain their offerings with less manual overhead Lead, coach, and grow a team of Product Managers, building a culture of customer obsession and operational excellence Drive strategic planning and investment prioritization across multiple platform initiatives Partner cross-functionally with Marketplace Experiences, Ecosystem Intelligence, Engineering, UX, Security, Finance, Legal, and Partner Success to deliver scalable platform capabilities Communicate platform strategy and priorities to executive leadership and partner stakeholders What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 15 years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, developer platforms, marketplaces, or partner ecosystems Experience building products for developers, partners, or enterprise administrators Strong understanding of platform business models, ecosystem strategy, and marketplace operations Experience with APIs, platform extensibility, identity, security, or governance Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Security, Operations, Finance, and GTM organizations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting strategy to executive leadership Proficiency using generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) as part of the core product management workflow — customer research, rapid prototyping, drafting product briefs and PRDs, synthesizing feedback, and accelerating delivery Experience leading and developing Product Management teams (this role starts with 0-1 PMs) Preferred Qualifications A related technical degree Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. The Managing Director (MD), Inland Marine oversees a team of underwriters who partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs. Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of business within a location or region. Partner with RVP to develop and implement business strategies to effectively achieve profit and growth objectives. Expert level knowledge of inland marine products, the regulatory environment, and the local insurance market. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to proactively identify underwriting, marketing, or financial challenges and analyze available information to make timely decisions in alignment with our risk appetite. Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully negotiate in difficult situations with agents and brokers. CPCU designation. What is a Must Have? Six years of underwriting, claim, operations, risk assessment, actuarial, sales, product, or finance experience. What Is in It for You?
