The Accountant Regional Financial Accounting will be responsible for carrying out the financial accounting activities of the company as developed by the Chief Accounting Officer, Controller and Corporate Directors Regional Financial Accounting. Responsibilities include assisting with the execution of policies and procedures required to maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as assisting with the preparation of financial statements with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of reporting. Senior Accountant should have the following: Bachelors degree in accounting from an accredited four-year college or university. Hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, a combination of public accounting and industry experience, or progressive industry experience. Previous experience with Oracle-based products, such as JD Edwards and/or Essbase, is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective work both independently and within a team. Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and time management abilities. Exhibit confidence in seeking clarification and asking questions, maintain a positive attitude, and possess a strong work ethic. A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. 1 year of experience in an accounting role or internship 3. Solid understanding of GAAP, financial statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. 4. Proficiency in using accounting software, specifically JD Edwards and Oracle. 5. Strong experience in monthly reporting, preparing entries, and reconciling financials. 6. Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of formulas, functions, pivot tables, and charts. 7.
