The Opportunity: The Class A Commercial Driver position involves driving a company tractor and trailer to deliver products to our customers. Driver routes will typically be 4-10 stops per route, will require the driver to unload via lift gate with pallet jack, and transport/place palletized products inside the customers' location. Drivers will be expected to use ELD and log all activity and follow all state and federal regulations. Routes are generally $29/hr M-F 5:00am to 3:00pm. or 6:00am. to 4:00pm; however, start and end times may vary based on route assignments and customer needs. Labels and identifies items correctly prior to packing (cartons/envelopes/pallets). Utilizes Freight View platform to retrieve shipping rates for LTL/FTL Prepay & Add shipments. Uses Oracle and Ship Exec to ship confirm sales orders. Documents any shortages or backorders on the sales order pick lists. Ensures all necessary shipping documentation (shipping labels, packing lists, bills of lading, commercial invoices, etc.) are accurate and accompany all outbound shipments. Schedules carrier pick-up for completed customer sales orders ready for pickup. Loads carrier trucks once the Truck/Dock Safety Procedure has been initiated.
