MWI Health is seeking a psychiatrist to join our practice and provide general oversight of all psychiatric services, including clinical protocols, supervision of advanced practice providers, and delivery of psychiatric services to patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy, motivated Psychiatrist interested in serving Veterans. Interested candidates must have experience and must be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally. Requirements Provide psychiatric supervision and administrative direction to clinical and support staff, including advanced practice practitioners. Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments & follow-up assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support for individuals with mental health conditions. Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient. Complete full and appropriate documentation to support professional billing for services. Interpret test results to diagnose any health issues and provide feedback to patients. Educate and counsel patients regarding medication compliance. Prescribe medications when clinically necessary. Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan. Communicate with, and make referrals to, PCPs and/or specialists, as appropriate. Provide services at community partnership locations. Maintain required licensure, certifications, and CME credits. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to Advanced Practice Providers (nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants with a collaborative physician agreement if required) for practice, as well as general clinical mentorship and guidance. Serve as a clinical escalation point for APPs and other medical staff within the practice. Education and Experience: Must possess (or be eligible for) an active & unrestricted license to practice in North Dakota. Must possess an unrestricted DEA license in the state(s) of practice (ND). MD or DO degree (or international equivalent) Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency Adult Psychiatrist Board Certified Psychiatrist Eligible for credentialing with all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare. Facility in Denison, TX seeking Pathology locums coverage Rates: $2500/day. telephone call only from the lab. NO autopsies. Opportunity Highlights Structured Schedule: The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM on-site, with weeknight call from 5:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Weekend call is also available. You must be within a 30-minute response time for call. High-Volume Practice: You'll handle a daily volume of 45-55 cases, split among three pathologists.
