Key Responsibilities\n \n Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, building rapport and establishing trust while upholding professional ethics and boundaries. \n Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, and plan for discharge when appropriate. \n Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. \n Document client interactions, treatment progress, and relevant notes to ensure comprehensive care and adherence to legal requirements. \n Perform initial intake assessments to determine appropriate treatment pathways. \n Participate in individual supervision sessions to foster professional growth and address clinical challenges. \n Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to patient care. \n Adopt a growth mindset, continually seeking professional development opportunities and embracing feedback. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Small Steps Developmental Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and families. Our clients often present a variety of mental health challenges, and your role will be vital in helping them navigate these issues through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field. \n Current, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials. \n A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting. \n Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY. \n Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families, including proficiency in conducting intake assessments. \n Preferred Experience\n While not mandatory, candidates with additional credentials, such as further certifications in specialized treatment modalities or experience working with specific populations (i.e., veterans, LGBTQIA communities), will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
