Pay: $67 per hour Location: Greensboro, NC 27408, USA Job Type: 6-month contract to hire | Onsite Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (every other weekend and possible holiday rotations may be required) Overview: The Nurse Practitioner provides primary and family care in collaboration with a clinical care team. The NP delivers evidence-based care to a panel of patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure positive patient outcomes and reports to the Practice Manager. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning Conduct routine examinations and diagnostic tests to assess and treat patients for injuries or illnesses Promote patient engagement in their healthcare through screenings, wellness programs, behavioral health support, and chronic condition management Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive plans of care Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment Participate in quality measurement and chronic disease management programs Work autonomously while collaborating with the clinical care team Qualifications: Education & Licensure: Master’s Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program Current National Board Certification and active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse Current BLS certification from ARC or AHA (required upon offer acceptance) DEA registration required during onboarding unless otherwise noted Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures Experience: Minimum 1 year recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care preferred Completion of primary care training program if prior experience is limited Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills Ability to work independently and in a collaborative clinical care team culture Proficiency with information management and technology Additional Requirements: Must complete candidate questionnaire including: Active NP/PA license and state of practice License and valid dates, NPI Primary care experience Electronic Medical Systems (EMS) experience Upcoming planned time off Current engagement with other recruiters Willingness to travel occasionally for float work Interview and start availability Physical & Work Environment: Safety-sensitive role May require working every other weekend and possible holiday rotations Ability to perform routine clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment Benefits: Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance.
