This role performs daily system rounds, records operating data, and uses monitoring software to ensure systems are running properly. Responsibilities include completing preventive, scheduled, and emergency work orders, maintaining spare parts inventory, developing maintenance schedules, and supporting documentation and SOPs. The technician supports facility projects and may supervise subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, welding, roofing, and insulation work. The role also addresses building maintenance needs such as lighting, restrooms, flooring, HVAC, and plumbing. During emergencies, the technician leads response efforts to restore utilities and operations. Additional support includes assisting pilot plant teams with equipment cleaning, valve rebuilding, and process tasks as needed. Requirements include: 5 years of experience working with building utility systems (steam, HVAC, electrical) Experience with pumps, motors, VFDs, valves, and bearings Knowledge of boilers, compressors, water systems, and electrical distribution Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls Experience with technical documentation and Microsoft tools Boiler Operator certification preferred (sponsorship available) Availability for on-call support during emergencies or off-hours when required Interested in hearing more?
