The ideal candidate is a mechanically minded, operations-focused leader with strong financial acumen and proven ability to manage budgets, CAPEX projects, and plant throughput. Candidates must be willing to permanently relocate to East Texas and embrace the community and team culture. What You’ll Do Oversee all plant operations for steel OCTG casing (API 5CT Q1), including heat treatment, NDT inspection, and end-finishing Lead and develop a team of 65–85 employees, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and quality Manage P&L, budgets, and CAPEX projects; report to multi-facility leadership Provide hands-on leadership with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems maintenance Maintain direct engagement on the plant floor—troubleshoot issues, streamline processes, and reinforce a culture of accountability What You Bring 10 years of plant or industrial operations experience, preferably with steel, tubular goods, or related manufacturing Strong mechanical and/or electrical systems knowledge Experience in budgeting, P&L, and CAPEX project management Hands-on leadership style with presence on the floor Commitment to permanent relocation and integrating into the local community Strong organizational skills, process improvement mindset, and dedication to a “hometown, family-owned” culture Why This Role?
