Chief Financial Officer (New York)

We are supporting an established specialist contractor based in Baldwin, New York, in appointing a Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of its contracting business and affiliated companies. Reporting directly to the Owner and Co-Owner, the successful candidate will oversee the wider group’s financial strategy, reporting, controls and day-to-day financial operations. They will inherit an established finance team and be responsible for developing its capabilities while providing ownership with clear and commercially focused financial guidance. This is both a strategic and hands-on position. The CFO will act as a trusted adviser to ownership while remaining closely involved in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial reporting and key accounting matters. Previous construction or contracting experience would be advantageous but is not essential. The company will consider accomplished financial leaders from other industries who can demonstrate strong commercial judgment, multi-entity financial experience and the ability to lead a finance team.
