Job Description CDL-A Delivery Driver | $80K-$95K Annually | Up to $7,500 Sign-On Bonus McLane Columbus is hiring experienced CDL-A Delivery Drivers for our Columbus Restaurant Division . Drivers can earn $80,000-$95,000 annually and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, depending on experience. Our drivers run customer-assisted delivery routes using liftgates and pallet jacks while getting Day 1 benefits with the stability of an industry leader. McLane Columbus drivers earn $80,000-$95,000 annually with top earners exceeding $100,000 per year. Sign-on bonus: Up to $7,500, depending on experience. Customer-assisted deliveries using liftgates and pallet jacks. Schedule: 3rd shift, 5-day dispatch, Monday-Friday. Mix of home daily and 2-day routes. Pay structure: hourly, miles, stops, and cases. What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: As a McLane CDL-A Delivery Driver, you'll safely deliver products that keep America's restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores stocked and running every day. Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery. Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions. Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate: At least 21 years of age. Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience. Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications. This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
