About the Opportunity: Team of 26 hospitalists admits patients to 2 community hospitals, 350 beds, and a Brown University Hospital with 185 beds ICU admissions by the Hospitalists are rare, with no invasive procedures, intubations, or ICU management required There is no major trauma Hospitalists work 7-on and 7-off, assigned to either of the hospitals for their week block. There is a 12-hour rounding day shift (7 am - 7 pm) and an admitting ?swing? shift (1 pm - 10 pm), and candidates must be willing to accept assignment to either shift. There are no required overnight shifts. Average rounding load of 16-18, with 2-7 admissions on the admitting swing shift. Staff 2 nearby hospitals, but only assigned to one for the week.
