This position works independently and implements the nutrition care plan as ordered by the physician and as planned by the clinical dietitian. This position is also empowered to make decisions impacting patient care according to departmental policy and procedures. (for example: offering alternative foods allowed on diets and changing trays as diet orders change). Responsible for making staffing decisions and supervises the staff who are responsible for direct patient care and the preparation of snacks and complicated infant formulas. Minimal job requirements Be in possession of a current National Registry Emergency Medical Technician- Basic certification. Current Maryland EMT- Basic certification required upon hire -or- obtained within the first 90 days of employment. District of Columbia EMT - Basic certification required upon hire -or- within the first 120 days of employment Pennsylvania EMT certification required upon hire -or- within the first 120 days of employment Valid CPR certification required upon hire Unrestricted valid driver’s license Salary Range: Minimum 19.25/hour - Maximum 31.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
