Position Overview Apex Skin is a physician-led and rapidly growing dermatology practice committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences. We are seeking a talented and motivated Mohs Medical Assistant to support our providers with both clinical and administrative tasks in a surgery setting. This role includes assisting with surgical procedures involving the removal of skin cancers and other skin tumors, as well as administrative tasks like documenting in the EMR as a clinical scribe, supporting patient education, and performing front office duties as needed. Monitor and complete lab documents, biopsy and culture book, telephone encounters, and team task box within the EMR. Maintains nursing practice consistent with OSHA, HIPPA, QA safety regulations. Assists with autoclave procedures and quality controls.
