More about our team Our Post Surgical Medical-Surgical Unit is a 32 bed inpatient unit specializing in the care of patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. The unit also supports medical-surgical overflow as needed. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse to patient ratio, providing comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, and coordinated interdisciplinary care. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current Alabama or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Basic Life Support required ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred Experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
