Summary Provides leadership for all campaign, major gifts, and related development program priorities. Manage a portfolio of 100-150 donors with capacity to give $25,000 and above. Works directly with advancement services to identify and cultivate potential donors. Works with stewardship to develop and implement tactics to manage and steward major gifts. Serves as a member of the development team, participating and contributing to work processes and innovative strategies. Job Duties Performs duties of a principal gift fundraiser, including cultivating donor relationships, soliciting gifts, and ensuring stewardship. Develops strategies with an assigned specific service line physician-in-chief/Chairs to grow the pipeline and develop physician alignment within a culture of philanthropy. Develops relationships with community members, donors, supporters, patients, and network colleagues. Collaborates with fundraising teams to maximize opportunities and identify potential sources for funding. Engages prospects and donors through education and cultivation and provides up-to-date network information for transparency. Manages a portfolio of prospects and donors to maximize fundraising revenue. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 5 years Fundraising in a health care environment. and Previous experience as a major gift fundraiser. Desire to work as a team member. Knowledge and understanding of local hospital community issues. Proven ability to operate effectively in a large, complex organization. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Proficient in BlackBaud/Raiser's Edge software. Superior analytic and strong intuitive skills.
