Job Details Key Responsibilities: Prepare survey deliverables including boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys using data collected by field crews. Process and adjust survey field data, perform calculations, and complete quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. Conduct deed, map, easement, and title research to support boundary analysis and survey resolution. Draft survey exhibits, legal descriptions, plats, and mapping products under the supervision of a Licensed Land Surveyor. Assist with preparation of Records of Survey, Corner Records, Parcel Maps, and Final Maps for agency submittals. Support survey field operations through periodic fieldwork to satisfy qualifying field hour requirements for licensure. Organize and maintain survey project files and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification preferred but not required. Typically possesses 0-5 years of survey-related experience. Working knowledge of standard surveying techniques, procedures, and terminology. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey-related software. Experience preparing mapping and legal exhibits for public agency review. Familiarity with California surveying standards and the Subdivision Map Act.
