What You’ll Do Front Desk & Customer Service : Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image. Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications. Sales Order Support: Assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is complete, and proper approvals are obtained before finalizing transactions. Customer Account Management: Process customer credit applications, assist with financing arrangements, and maintain accurate customer account information in retail management systems. Cash Handling & Financial Procedures : Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions according to company policies under Office Manager supervision. Customer Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to Management as appropriate while following up to ensure resolution. Audit & Compliance Assistance : Support Management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation and verifying accuracy of paperwork. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperwork is properly completed and filed according to company standards. Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient store operations. Technology & Systems: Utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools to perform job duties efficiently and accurately. Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail store. Responsibilities: Support the Store Managers’ in overseeing all sales KPI’s including but not limited to; volume, margin, closing ratio, sales per guest, bedding and protection. The ability to handle all customer-related issues in the absence of the Store Manager. Provide exceptional leadership with timely and effective communication to the sales, guest experience and visual teams. Coach members of the sales staff to build individual and team success in a professional manner. Assist the Store Manager in maintaining budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies. Ensure complete and adequate documentation of procedures and tasks completed. Complete various report functions in a timely manner. Aid to maintain proper staffing levels for the sales team job code in accordance with company set budget levels. Prepare and administer impact coaching sessions for development of the sales team. Coordinate and execute daily, weekly peak state huddles. Work with the Visual Presentation Manager regarding product placement. Report changes in policy and other information to staff members. Other duties as assigned.
