Responsibilities: As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing park infrastructure by ensuring all wooden structures, facilities, and components are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your work will directly support ride safety, operational readiness, and overall park presentation. HOW YOU WILL DO IT: Perform ongoing repair, maintenance, and inspection of wooden roller coasters, including daily safety inspections Install and repair catwalks, fencing, queue lines, woodwork, and associated hardware for rides and attractions Remodel offices, buildings, and park facilities, including framing, cabinetry, shelving, doors, flooring, carpeting, and hardware installation Design and fabricate special‑purpose furniture, cabinets, and fixtures based on plans or general specifications Cut and install glass, countertops, ceramic tile, and related finishing materials Perform general building repairs, including patching, winterizing, roofing, and gutter maintenance Pour and finish concrete as required Hang and repair drop ceilings Conduct pre‑opening ride and facility safety checks and assist with equipment inspections across the park Safely operate a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment Respond to radio calls and maintenance requests in a timely manner Perform additional duties as assigned by the Carpentry Shop or Maintenance Leadership Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Valid State Driver’s License and must be at least 18 years of age Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, sun, cold, rain) Ability to work at heights up to 200 feet Strong working knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and safety practices Ability to maintain written maintenance and inspection records Own basic hand tools required for the trade Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and a positive, safety‑focused attitude Willingness and availability to work varying shifts , including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed OTHER NOTES: Perform all other duties as assigned or necessary to support park operations as a whole Reports directly to Maintenance Leadership

Position Summary CET’s Strategy and Policy (S&P) team creates, tests, and advocates for evidence-based clean energy transportation solutions by spearheading pilot projects, policy frameworks, tailored customer offerings, and stakeholder engagement. Our team develops, iterates, and executes on PG&E’s strategy to connect 3 million electric vehicles (EV) to the grid by 2030 and enabling at least 550 MW of flexible load from VGI applications.
