The successful incumbent will be responsible for setting up and operating NC machines, ensuring precision machining of aerospace components while maintaining high-quality standards. The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. We have day shifts and night shift available. Essential Responsibilities: Set up and operate N/C Milling Machines, including Cincinnati Milacron, Okuma 2 Pallets, Makino, and Mitsui-Seiki. Run two machines simultaneously when cycle times allow. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and N/C instructions. Utilize 840D and Fanuc controls for programming and adjustments. Perform functional tests and inspections on completed work to ensure quality and accuracy. Use measuring tools and inspection gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain accountability for the quality of work and adhere to safety and compliance standards. Input small amounts of data into machines and supervise time clock entries for labor collection. Lift and handle tools as required for machine setup and operations. Work standing for a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Apply basic shop math for calculations and measurements. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Position Requirements: Experience in the setup and operation of all N/C Milling Machines. Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and inspection gauges. Basic computer skills are a plus. Must be detail-oriented, accountable, and capable of ensuring high-quality work. Technical school diploma or certification in machining is a plus. Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Coordinate and supervise observational and preceptor experiences. Facilitate the entry of new nursing students and assist with student recruitment and orientation. Communicate student progress to Director of Nursing Education. Participate in Success Planning and due process committee. Record and report student attendance and grades according to College policy. Occasional (10-33%) Regularly engage in professional development activities and keep current with developing trends and ideas in profession. Assist in the process of requesting and maintaining instructional equipment and supplies for classroom/laboratory use. Attend and serve on assigned and voluntary program and College committees. Encourage and foster student participation in professional organizations. Assist in the development of new courses and revisions of existing courses within the nursing program. Scope: Service Desk Analyst, Responsible for support of all IHA standard end-user hardware and software as well as printers, phone system, and other IT-related technology resources.
