Practice Info Outpatient pain management team Serving multiple clinics and an ASC in the Greater Memphis area (TN/MS) Comprehensive, patient-focused pain practice using cutting-edge technology Perform procedures primarily at a nearby outpatient single-specialty surgery center with staff experienced in chronic pain procedures Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary pain management care; may supervise APPs (ARNPs/Physician Assistants) Create patient-focused, safe, and balanced treatment plans Perform/problem-focused physical exams and obtain medical histories to assess injury, disease, chronic pain, or disabling conditions Determine, order, and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies (including radiology and labs) Implement evidence-based treatments for chronic pain (e.g., medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, and other interventional therapies) Perform procedures primarily at a nearby outpatient single-specialty surgery center with staff experienced in chronic pain procedures Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic health records; initiate consultations/referrals when needed Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Compensation $450,000 - $550,000 guaranteed base compensation year 1 collections with productivity bonuses and partnership potential Sign-on and relocation bonus Benefits Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life/AD&D, disability) CME, licensing, and malpractice covered Generous paid time off Requirements MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, PM&R, or related field Completed (or in process of completing) an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship Active, unrestricted Medical License and DEA in Tennessee and Mississippi, or willingness to obtain Current BLS/ACLS certifications

This is an opportunity to work within a modern 154-bed facility known for its skilled medical providers. The role involves working in a collaborative care team model alongside four anesthesiologists and eight CRNAs. Practice Info Part of Columbus Regional Healthcare System (CRHS), a not-for-profit organization founded in 1935. The modern facility is a 154-bed hospital. The anesthesia group consists of four anesthesiologists and eight CRNAs. Operates under a care team model. Responsibilities Handle case assignments including General, peds, vascular, robotic, urologic, orthopedic, OB, and gynecologic surgery. Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments. Obtain and/or verify patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform clinical intervention as needed.
