He/she will provide NP-appropriate service to patients enrolled in hospice and may also assist in staffing pediatric palliative care consultation services that function as a program of Hospice and Palliative Care program He/she may work in a community, long-term care environment, or hospital He/she has specialist skills in symptom management, communication including goal setting discussions, and hospice eligibility review, and he/she may work independently or as part of a treatment team In all settings, he/she will provide in-person visits or telehealth visits, as appropriate.
