Job Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team within the UT Southwestern Pediatric Cardiology division, Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Care Team, at Childrens Health to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with a wide variety of congenital and acquired heart disease who are either being managed for heart failure, listed for cardiac transplantation, or are post cardiac transplantation. This position will require a high degree of critical thinking and clinical expertise in working with pediatric patients both inpatient and outpatient cardiology setting. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, health promotion and care coordination for patients and families. Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group (AHNMG) is seeking 2 Pediatric Gastroenterologists to join a well-established team in central Georgia. Position Highlights: Well Established 1 physician and 3 APPs, 3 RNs, 1 dietician Team Based Care Admit to hospitalist service, only be on consultation for inpatient admissions. A wide range of pediatric subspecialists are available. Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line. State of The Art Facilities Endoscopy suite, sedation services provided by pediatric ICU physicians. Ability to establish a niche area of interest within pediatric GI while maintaining skills in General Peds Gastroenterology. Use of EPIC EMR and access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature. Work-Life Balance Open to a variety of practice models for this role. 1 week of call per month. Hospitalists take 1st call alongside APPs. Robust Compensation Relocation payment, sign-on bonus and opportunity to take extra call that is compensated. We have a strong performance-based incentive plan that is very favorable to the high performing physician. We offer production performance (up to 5% clinical compensation) incentives. Teaching Opportunities Be involved in teaching residents and medical students at Mercer University School of Medicine.
