Job Description AdventHealth is excited to announce the opening of our state-of-the-art Cancer Center, expanding our comprehensive oncology services to NW Georgia. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing team. This role is designed for a mission-aligned APP who desires meaningful patient relationships and the opportunity to make a significant impact in our community. Hematology & Medical Oncology care within our new cancer center Collaborate closely with medical oncologists, nurse navigators, infusion teams, and support staff Participate in the evaluation, treatment planning, and follow-up Opportunity to contribute to program development as we expand services and patient volume MondayFriday schedule with call expectations Supportive leadership and access to AdventHealth's robust clinical resources Requirements Masters degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Active Georgia APRN or PA-C license (or ability to obtain) National certification as NP or PA Preferred Oncology experience as an APP or RN OCN or AOCNP certification Experience in outpatient oncology, hematology/oncology, or infusion services Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered hematology and medical oncology care in collaboration with supervising physicians Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, symptom management, and treatment education Manage infusion patients and clinic settings, including urgent oncology needs Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging Coordinate care across the cancer continuum with internal and external partners Document care in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies Participate in quality improvement initiatives Why Join AdventHealth Redmond?
