As assigned, sees individuals who are an immediate crisis to curtail emergency visits and/or inpatient admissions; • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities; • Maintains client confidentiality and confidential health information; • Participates in meetings as scheduled; • Signs clinical treatment plans as required; • Meets or exceeds the then current individual billable units of service requirement; • Additional duties as assigned. Your skills and qualifications: • Current and valid board certification in psychiatry • Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency • Licensed to practice medicine in state of practice • Current DEA registration • Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology • Excellent knowledge and familiarity with current DSM criteria • Training and experience in providing Medication Assisted Therapies (MAT) preferred • Familiar with crisis assessment tools and techniques • Strong working knowledge of general psychiatric principles and practices • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Extensive knowledge with PC applications and electronic medical records strongly preferred.
