Collaborates with Nutr. Guest Reps, nurses, medical providers and SLP to identify patients needing an assessment or re-assessment. 2. Appropriately prioritize patients for the shift. Documents which patients need assessment notes and the reasons. 3 - Assesses patients appropriately using the Nutrition Care Process. Assessments are accurate, appropriate and use evidence based practice. Notes are timely, effective and use the ADIME outline. Calculations are based on N&FS department policies for standards of practice. RD works efficiently to be productive and complete appropriate number of notes/day. 4 - Effectively communicates departmental, organization and specialty information to coworkers and other clinical staff. Delivery is clear and in a timely fashion. Communication is productive and resolves conflicts which may affect relations and productivity. Clinical Social Worker/LICSW

Job Description Summary Provides clinical psychosocial intervention, including crisis intervention, individual, couples and family counseling, support groups, and short-term bereavement therapy. Coordinates patient care through the continuum, facilitating the achievement of optimal quality outcomes in relation to clinical care and cost-effectiveness. Identifies and addresses high-risk psychosocial factors as well as psychosocial strengths of patients/families/caregivers that impact health status, coping and adjustment (e.g. suicidal or homicidal risk, domestic violence, disabled, child or elder abuse and neglect, physical, developmental or intellectual disabilities, serious mental health conditions, etc.) Assumes responsibility for attending to patients with complex psychosocial risk (domestic violence, protective services, frail elderly, disabled, substance abuse, etc.). Assesses adaptation of families to patients' illnesses, provides crisis intervention, short-term therapy as needed and engage support persons as needed. Responsible for facilitating complex serious illness and goals of care conversations to ensure shared treatment decision-making and effective patient-physician communication. 3 - Provides clinical interventions that are focused on cancer-related distress, are evidence based, goal oriented, strengths based, and short-term and episodic in nature to ensure patient equity and accessibility to social work interventions; modalities include individual, family, and group work. 4 - Provides in-person and/or telehealth services to patients and families/caregivers; method of communication (i.e., in person/phone/Zoom video) is based on clinical assessment. 5 - Completes appropriate evidence-based assessments including Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale, PHQ-9, and GAD-7 for each patient so as to inform appropriate and clinical response. 6 - Assumes responsibility/leadership as needed: Ability to cover for supervisory personnel as needed. The social worker is the primary clinician in the SOC model. Social work performs assessments on all patients referred to SOC. Key components of that assessment include: PHQ-9, GAD-7, Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale, and the Serious Illness Conversation. Social work carries out most of the behavioral health interventions in SOC. During weekly SOC team meetings, social work presents patients that have complicated needs/presentations, patients with PHQ and GAD scores of over 10, patients with referral reasons related to substance use disorders (SUDs), serious mental illness (SMI), and early palliative care referrals 19 - Participates in weekly medical oncology rounds for each medical provider so as to collaborate and coordinate care for patients and families—this includes providing communicating clinical assessment and recommendations, consultation and support to interdisciplinary health care team. 20 - Formulates, coordinates, implements psychosocial component of patient/family care: Demonstrates ability to clarify on short and long-term goals with patients/families around psychological, emotional, physical, social, environmental, and economic/financial issues impacting patients’ adjustments and recoveries. 21 - Initiates and/or participates in interdisciplinary collaboration to implement psychosocial treatment: Ability to initiate and facilitate interdisciplinary meetings to discuss and/or implement psychosocial care plan. CT Technologist (PRN)

CT Technologist (PRN) Location: Duke University Hospital 2301 Erwin Rd, Durham, NC 27705 Work Schedule : PRN, with a minimum of four shifts per month and the option of 10-hour or 12-hour shifts Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced or new graduate CT Technologist who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together. The Duke University Hospital (DUH) campus supports a 1067 bed hospital known for expertise in Inpatient, Urgent Outpatient, OR, Interventional, ED/Trauma, PEDS, Cardiac, Oncology, and Transplant services. We have a total of 20 clinical scanners, including 14 in various locations, 5 in the OR, and 1 portable scanner for Neuro ICU. What you will do: Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary. Perform exams accurately per established protocols, policy, and patient safety standards. Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable. Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures. Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately label. Film/transmit to Image Archival System. Schedule patients for procedures; assist with clerical functions. Charge procedures and supplies in EHR. Dispense and or order oral contrast to patients for CT scans. Maintain accurate patient records. Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists. Provide care for the psychological and physical needs of patients and their families for CT scans. Provide education and training to student technologists. Perform other related duties incidental to the work therein. Coordinate scheduling and patient flow Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement for contrast administration. Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in performance of all exam protocols. Assist with the education and training of new physicians (interns, residents, fellows, and attending's). If applicable. Assist radiologists and PhD's in developing new protocols and CT imaging techniques that are unique to facility. Perform CT specific technical assistance with projects assigned by supervisor including but not limited to: Team lead, R & D, protocol development, charge reconciliation and demonstration of equipment. Required Qualifications: Education: Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification. Experience: Level I Must obtain CT certification within 18 months of employment. Level II Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist. Level III A minimum of 4 years' experience within specialty modality in which they are seeking promotion Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification Certification in one of the following required: Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), CNMT. ARRT registered in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 18 months of employment. BLS certification.
