Associate Veterinarian

Main Street Animal Clinic is seeking an Experienced Veterinarian confident in surgery to join our thriving team in Oakland, TN! We are a well-established, multi-doctor small animal hospital with a reputation for high-quality medicine and advanced surgical care. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled veterinarian who wants to bring their surgical expertise to a supportive, growth-focused practice. What we're looking for: An experienced veterinarian confident in advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures (TPLO, fracture repair, splenectomy, dentistry, etc.). We have a strong surgical caseload and the equipment to support complex cases. Certification in animal chiropractic would be considered a strong asset A collaborative doctor who values teamwork, communication, and providing outstanding client care. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in Tennessee. About Us: We are a 5 doctor practice that is trusted in the area for orthopedic surgery (including CCL repairs, TPLO, FHO, and fracture repair). Our Medical Director, Dr. Barry Miller, has special interests in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ACL/TPLO surgeries, and preventative care. Our Associate, Dr. Robert Parker, is a board-certified pet chiropractor and enjoys laser therapy and ultrasound. Our practice values teamwork and communication and understands that achieving the best quality of care means taking care of our team. We support our team's growth by encouraging continued education and certification opportunities and training our team so they can take on new roles and responsibilities at our practice. Our primary services are robust, including everything from general wellness and preventative care to orthopedics, dentistry, chiropractic care, laser therapy, and surgery. We have numerous exam rooms (with room for more!), a separate feline room, a dedicated euthanasia room, and excellent tools and equipment to best support our patients.
