We're hiring experienced CNC Machinist Setup Operators for our 2nd and 3rd shift teams in Hatboro, PA. This isn't repetitive button-pushing. You'll help manufacture precision components used in medical devices, aerospace, defense, and space exploration. Depending on your experience, you could be working on CNC mills, Swiss machines, or advanced mill-turn equipment producing parts where quality matters on every cycle. As a Setup Operator, you'll play an important role in keeping production moving while producing complex precision components that support industries where failure isn't an option. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC milling machines, Swiss machines, CNC lathes, and mill-turn centers Read blueprints, process sheets, work instructions, and GD&T requirements Perform tool changes, offsets, fixture setup, and workholding adjustments Machine precision components from stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other specialty alloys Perform first-piece and in-process inspections Use precision measuring equipment to verify tight tolerances Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams Support both prototype and production machining Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Machines, Controls & Software Depending on your assignment, you'll work with equipment including: Machines Mori Seiki CNC Mills & Mill-Turn Centers Haas 5-Axis Machining Centers Yasda Ultra-Precision Hard Milling Machines DMU Machining Centers Hurco Machining Centers Citizen Swiss Machines Traub Swiss Machines CNC Controls Fanuc Siemens Mitsubishi Inspection Equipment Zeiss Contura CMM Keyence Vision & Measurement Systems OGP SmartScope Renishaw Probing Systems Micrometers Calipers Bore Gauges Indicators Height Gauges Software Mastercam Esprit SolidWorks Materials You'll Machine You'll work with a variety of precision materials, including: Stainless Steel Titanium Inconel High-Performance Alloys What We're Looking ForRequired High school diploma or equivalent 3–5 years of CNC machining experience Experience setting up and operating one or more of the following: CNC Mills CNC Swiss Machines CNC Lathes CNC Mill-Turn Centers Multi-Axis CNC Equipment Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Experience with tooling, offsets, speeds and feeds, and workholding Experience machining difficult materials Comfortable performing in-process inspection using precision measuring tools Preferred Technical school or machining apprenticeship Mastercam experience Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controls Automation or pallet system experience Aerospace, medical device, defense, or precision contract manufacturing experience Experience working in ISO 13485, AS9100, or ITAR manufacturing environments Why Machinists Like Working at KMM Group KMM Group combines more than 100 years of manufacturing experience with one of the region's most advanced precision machining facilities.
