Seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Neuro-Oncologist to join an established multidisciplinary team in eastern North Carolina. Highlights include: Full-time, employed position Hospital privileges Team includes specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology Growing physician-led private not for profit health system with locations across eastern North Carolina Established neuro-oncology program Growing clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists Subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology Medical Center has a NSICU led by Neurointensivists as well as a rehabilitation center providing inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients State-of-the-art technology like GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, Cyberknife radiosurgery, and i nnovative clinical trials that improve brain tumor knowledge, treatments and outcomes Established clinical trials program Ability to participate in the teaching and mentorship of hematology oncology fellows and neurology residents Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits to include: Annual CME Stipend Relocation Vacation, Sick, Holidays Malpractice (with tail) 401k/457b Medical, Dental, Vision Disability Life Insurance Qualified candidates may also be eligible for: Loan repayment Sign-on bonus Income guarantees Residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends The Community: Living in this part of eastern North Carolina offers a blend of Southern charm, a mild climate, and a vibrant mix of cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities.
